Manikaa
Your New Mind & Body Practitioner
I have had a successful decade of experience working in a digital marketing role for various global and national companies such as Virgin Media o2, PwC, National Carparks and Birmingham Airport.
During my time in professional roles I have worked hard to progress and always performed to the highest level. However, inside I struggled with anxiety, panic attacks and burn out.
I have first hand experience in how anxiety and stress can look like 'high performing' on the outside, but paralysing on the inside.
During my time at PwC I career coached and managed multiple individuals. I could also see how anxiety and stress impacted them day to day and could spot the signs that I personally put a lot of effort into hiding throughout my own career.
I put a substantial amount of effort as a career coach and manager to build resilience and support those who I was responsible for thrive at work without burning out.
At that moment, I truly felt like I had found my calling; to help others. I now serve others to become the best versions of themselves on a full time basis.

Manikaa (Man-eee-kha)
Derived from Sanskrit, Manikaa signifies a precious gem or jewel—something rare and radiant in nature. The name breaks down into 'Mani' (मणि), which means gem or bead, paired with the affectionate suffix '-kaa' that suggests something small and dear. This creates the charming meaning of 'little jewel'

Partnership
My clients are undisputed experts on themseleves. I do not wish to tell them what to do, or trick them into change. I prefer to dance with my clients, not fight with them. Our conversations tend to be like a ball room dance without tripping on each others toes. My aim is to work together to help clients find their own motivation for change.

Acceptance
I ensure that I always accept a client just the way they are. I am aware that each of my clients have their own unique individuality. I respect each of my clients by ensuring that they grow and unfold exactly the way he or she is. Growth and progress is in absence of exploitation.

Compassion
The service I offer my clients, is to benefit them and not me. I therefore make a commitment to actively pursuing the welfare and best interests of my clients in every coaching session

Evocation
I truly believe my clients have exactly what they need within themselves to get to their goal. Together we find it. My clients have a lot of wisdom about themselves and good reason for doing what they are doing. I support them by evoking strengths and drawing out what is already there in the first place.
My Values

My Story
My personal journey has been one of resilience, determination, and the unwavering belief that with hope and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacle life throws our way.
I grew up in a council estate, raised by my incredible mother who moved to the UK from India, she poured her heart and soul into providing for our family.
Life wasn't always easy, and we faced our fair share of challenges, such as domestic violence, abuse, poverty and toxic communities who further perpetuated trauma. The first 17 years of my life were extremely difficult, leaving me with a diagnosis of complex PTSD.
I have battled with many mental health challenges and overtime managed to build my self esteem. It was in those moments that I learned some of life's most valuable lessons.
I have always been determined to break free from the limitations of my environment growing up. From a young age I aimed to create a better life for myself. I knew that hard work and hope were my ticket to a brighter future, so I threw myself into self development, educating myself and embracing every opportunity to learn and grow.
Over the years, I discovered that success isn't just about working harder; it's about working smarter and finding creative solutions to the challenges we face. I learned to navigate the complexities of life, leveraging my strengths and seeking out opportunities to build a foundation for myself.
My story isn't just about overcoming adversity; it's about inspiring others to do the same. I believe that we all have the power within us to rise above our circumstances and achieve our dreams.
I want to support as many people as I can to make sure that happens and I draw from my British South Indian heritage and Hindu cultural background, to bring a unique multicultural perspective to my work.
